I was looking for some good place to order food at my workplace and I came across this one hidden behind others. The menu looked very exciting and I thought of ordering something. I saw the meal box options and they were good with reasonable pricing.
Paneer Makhanwala Meal: I got one with tandoori rotis. The paneer was soft and gravy was well cooked with good typical flavors of paneer makhanwala. The tandoori roti was also well cooked and made of whole wheat but the taste was good. 4.5/5 on taste.
Paneer Kadai with rumali roti: The paneer Kadai was well cooked with spicy and flavorful gravy. Paneer was soft and tasting good. A big disappointment was the rumali roti which was super hard and chewy to eat. It was not looking like a freshly made one but like a bulk made one. 4.5/5 on taste for paneer Kadai only.
Amritsari Kulcha Meal: The kulcha was stuffed with paneer, well cooked and tasting good. Pindi choley was also well made and tasty. But only a single kulcha was not enough for the choley given and also cannot satisfy a single eater. 4.5/5 on taste.
Dal Makhni Meal: I had the one with jeera rice. The rice was well cooked and good quality one. The dal makhani was good in taste but not among the best ones I have had. 4/5 on taste.
Punjabi Kadhi Meal: I had ordered the one with jeera rice. The rice was good but the kadhi was thin. Pakoda inside the kadhi were well cooked and gave it a nice flavor. Overall the taste of the kadhi chawal was good but nothing great. 4/5 on taste.
Daal Makhani with Rumali Paratha: The one I have was having paneer stuffed inside the paratha. It was more like rumali roti in which the stuffing was made rather than a thick paratha. The taste of the paratha was good but nothing great. The overall flavor of the dish was good. 3.5/5 on taste.
Hyderabadi Biryani: It came in an earthen pot which was heavy and big in size. The biryani was filled till the top rim and garnished well. It had potato, carrots and french beans inside. The number of vegetables was very less. Also, the biryani had more rice and less of any gravy or masala. The overall taste of the biryani was good but it was not among the great ones I have had. 3.5/5 on taste.
Nawabi Biryani: It has white in color with a few whole garam masalas. There were some paneer pieces as well in it. The taste of the biryani was very good. It was not having any wet masala in it but the taste was good. 4/5 on taste.
Veg Jalfrezi Paratha Wrap: It was a typical Indian masala wrap with a lot og vegetables. The flavors were spicy and tasty. 4/5 on taste.
Achari Paneer Tikka Wrap: I was expecting a pickle like flavor but thankfully it did not. The paneer was well cooked and good in taste. Overall flavor of the wrap was good with not so spicy taste. 4/5 on taste.
Paneer Kuchran Paratha Wrap: It was very similar to veg jalfrezi wrap in taste with paneer in it. 4./5 on taste.
Overall great experiences with this place and I would definitely order more items in the future and update this review.
Value for money: 4.5/5
